a is enemy
0:51 perfect Australian accent out of absolutely nowhere
RTA Duolingo
Ah yes, the enemy of Japanese: articles
Now whenever Gura and Suisei ever play among us in a collab again in the future, Gura has a big counter
Gura: a
Suisei: *cry's a river
Id like Gura to help her considering "a" is Gura's favorite letter but unfortunately, "Domo! same desu!" Is her entire Japanese vocabulary at the moment.
I know im not one to talk since my Japanese is severely limited but still….
From now there's no more "A" in English lphbet
Greatest character development arc of all time
Gura: A
Suisei: *cries
0:51 that okay sounds very Australian…
Tbh English articles are way easier than in other European languages that have them, zero article may be a bit confusing tho. Greek article system, for example, is a nightmare – they change by gender, number and case, and they put them in front of a name
She needs Gura as teacher if she can't get the A right.
O freaking love her new voice
"a" "an" "the" What a nostalgic grammatic error.
But thank to it, I can add more "word" in my essay.
Articles are >a pain in the ass.
Repeat after me:
"I'm at soup!"
Pain peko
suisei
Most british ok I've ever heard, and suisei said it.. lmao
Ye I know that feeling english sucks sometimes
japanese ga and wa sucks as well
I love the way she said okay
0:51 WTF That "Okay" was perfect
Gura: "a"
Suisei: *starts crying
0:51 that okay was kinda hot
Gura: and I took that personally
As someone who does Japanese on duolingo, I know that they are pretty specific and strict.
"I fear no man but that thing"
a
"…it scares me."
Ah yes a and the which do not exist in JP
not only countable and uncountable, "a" or "the" made me confused as well
Honestly speaking though, Sui-chan spent over 2 hours using Duolingo and would admit she's doing pretty well.
Now all it takes is actually getting daily lessons from mamamachi and get bullied in the process for her "FLUENT" English
a and the bothered me a lot when I was young
Lol. I got this video after gura says hi honey
This explains why broken English we sometimes hear lacks articles: articles are usually far less complicated in other languages.
a
Articles, the bane of HoloJP
English is pain. I mean- A pain in the arse.
a
Don't they have articles in Japanese?
Suisei: I fear no man.
Gura: a
Suisei:… But that thing… It scares me…
